Healthy Grain Free Granola
Ingredients
- 3 cups coconut flakes
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 3 Tbs chia seeds
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup of your favourite nuts. eg. chopped pecans, walnuts, hazelnuts, cashews
- 1/2 cup pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
- 1/4 cup of raisins
- 60g melted coconut oil or butter
- 1 Tbs rice malt syrup (optional)
- 1 Tbs cinnamon
- 2 scoops LSA (linseed, sunflower, almonds)
Method
- Heat the oven to 120 degrees celcius.
- Mix all of ingredients together in a large bowl, stir through LSA
- Spread the mixture evenly over a large lined baking tray
- Bake for 20 to 30 minutes until golden brown
- Remove the contents from oven, cool and stir through
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge
We recommend consuming this delicious mixture with almond milk, you may add a small amount of greek yoghurt and or berries for taste. This meal does contain quite a few calories but is ok for breakfast as it will provide sustained release energy throughout the day.
