Christmas Weight Management Strategies

Christmas is the time of year where we tend to eat and drink a lot, it's a time to treat yourself and catch up with friends. Christmas is statistically the time of year where people gain the most weight in the form of fat and then make a plan on how to lose it the next year. This year can be different, try applying one or all of our 3 weight management strategies this Christmas and your new year will be a step ahead of the rest.

1. Do 90 seconds/ 3 minutes of constant exercise before eating a big meal. This may be in the form of air squats, lunges, push-ups, tri-cep wall pushes or some other exercise that makes your muscles work. This will activate your muscle receptors and you will store more of your meal in your muscle cells as opposed to fat cells.

2. Take a natural supplement to help suppress appetite and balance blood sugar. Taking a supplement such as Garcinia Cambogia at meal times will reduce your cravings and help fill you up faster.

3. Stay hydrated, try and drink 1 glass of water for every alcoholic beverage consumed and if you are planning on having more then a few drinks then drink coconut water or an electrolyte drink before bed to avoid a hangover. 

Applying 1 or more of these weight management strategies during the holiday break will lead to a happier healthier Christmas and New Year.
